Sicklypaw walked out of the learner's den. He looked around the camp and sighed. Right now he would be doing something with his mentor but he was killed. He would have gone hunting but then he'll go crazy. "well great nothing to do again." He grumbled to him self and walked to a shady spot and laid down. His yellowish green eyes watching every one.

Magmasea yawned as he stepped out of the Hunter's den, his white ears flicking lightly as he listened for any whiney voices. Smiling when he heard none, he began to trot toward the center of the clearing where he would wait until the dawn patrols returned. His gray eyes flickering merrily, he let his gaze drift around, focusing on the tom sitting outside the Learner's Den. His tail twitching, the Secondary One raised an "eyebrow" at Sicklypaw. Naturally, Magmasea trotted over to the spot beside the apprentice. "What are you going to do all day? Sit around?" the flame-tailed tom growled, slightly annoyed. He despised laziness. I'll have to get Acidicone to get him a new mentor! he reminded himself.

Sicklypaw looked up at Magmasea as he spoke and waited for an answer. "Yea. I have nothing else to do. My mentor died and he was the only one I really cared about. And if I go hunting...." He trailed off. Sicklypaw really didn't like talking about his bloodlust problems. He just looked at Magmasea with his yellow-green eyes.

Magmaesea snorted, dismissing the words. "If you keep control of yourself, you won't have any problems hunting," he remarked, annoyance cutting through his impatience. With a roll of his eyes, he made a quick decision. If this Sicklypaw was going to sit around all day from lack of mentor, then he'd just have to be the mentor. I'll tell Acidicone later, he told himself. The ginger-tailed tom rolled his eyes at the apprentice. "Let's go. From now on, I'm your new mentor. We can't have you sitting around and being a useless mouth to feed." Flicking his ear, he motioned for the tom to stand up.

Sicklypaw bit his lip. He had to tell him now or let him find out the hard way. "Uh there's just one thing you have to know about me."

Magmasea raised an eyebrow. "Mmm?" The Secondary One almost sighed, but contained himself. His ginger tail twitched impatiently. He hated secrets he didn't know. Icy gray eyes sparkled slightly as the tom looked at the apprentice, wondering what Sicklypaw was going to say. He'd just have to find out the hard way and wait..

Sicklypaw looked around. "I have a Bloodlust." He said quickly. He kept looking away hoping that Magmasea wouldn't turn around and talk to him about it. He hated to talk about his bloodlust but he didn't want to risk killing some one.

Magmaesea turned and glanced at his new Learner. Yawning, his tail twitched for Sicklypaw to follow. Bloodlust? That might be a problem. Glancing over his shoulder, the tom smiled. "We're going hunting, Sicklypaw." The Secondary One could be quite stubborn, and besides, the apprentice had to learn control.

Sicklypaw bit his lip. "Uh...yeah but that's what almost killed my sister. I have no control of my self when my bloodlust takes over." He said walking behind Magmasea

Magmasea nodded, indicating he'd heard Sicklypaw. Still, he continued on. "We're going hunting," he remarked, his fiery tail twitching indignantly. If he was going to die trying to cure Sicklypaw of his bloodlust, so be it. The day was still early on.

Sicklypaw kept walking with Magmasea. "Would you at least help me control it? Because the bloodlust makes me stronger. But I have no control of my actions."

Magmasea paused for a moment. "Yes and no." Wondering what Sicklypaw's reaction was going to be, he slowed until he was walking beside his Learner. "Yes, because all apprentices need to learn how to become stronger, in will and body." The Secondary One's tail twitched slightly as he continued, "No because I can't make you stronger by myself and because bloodlust will never be controllable. It is undependable." The tom looked at Sicklypaw. "Understand?" he asked firmly.
